American SKB Shock Racks are designed to withstand everything: water, dirt, dust, shocks, cold, and heat. Perfect for protecting and transporting your sensitive electronic equipment.

The internal rack chassis is constructed of high-strength (yet lightweight) aluminum alloy extrusions with 11-gauge hot-rolled carbon steel rack rails to meet EIA-310 standards. Shock and vibration attenuation is achieved with eight (8) elastomer isolators rated for a payload range of 40 lbs to 150 lbs in a standard configuration (optional extended payload range of 160 lbs to 300 lbs can be accommodated as a special order option – must be installed by SKB). The inner frame and shock absorbers provide sufficient sway for ambient air circulation and heat dissipation.
